Key Objectives
- Manage and process invoices and payments efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships through clear communication and prompt issue resolution.
- Support month-end closing activities and assist with financial reporting as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process accounts payable invoices and expense reports.
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and payment requests to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and execute timely payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing issues.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary approvals and supporting documents.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
- Support audit activities by providing required documentation and information.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related finance role.
- Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.

Salary: $30 - $45 per hour
