Position Summary

As the Regional Sales Manager for Alberta and Manitoba, you will oversee all sales operations across both provinces, leading a team of Territory Managers while managing key customer relationships. You'll be responsible for developing regional sales strategies, driving growth, and ensuring alignment with company goals.

This role is ideal for a results-driven sales leader with experience in the tire or automotive industry who thrives on relationship building, coaching teams, and executing regional business plans that deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the regional sales team in achieving sales targets and business objectives.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts across Alberta and Manitoba.
  • Develop tailored regional sales strategies to expand market share and profitability.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with retailers, dealers, banner accounts and manufacturers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Logistics, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver seamless service.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide mentorship, guidance, and training to sales staff.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
  • Participate in regional and national sales meetings, industry trade shows, and customer events as required.
  • Regular travel throughout Alberta and Manitoba is required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience in B2B environments; experience in the tire or automotive industry strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading successful sales teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze market and financial data.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.
