About Moss Postpartum House

Moss Postpartum House is a clinic based in Kensington, Calgary, made for postpartum families. Our Calgary-based postpartum services were designed for families in the hazy days, months (and let's be honest, years) after a baby arrives, but they are available to everyone.

We're a team of local healers and helpers whose life's work is helping you with yours-that soft little soul who found their way into your arms. Each of our Practitioners is uniquely trained and experienced in supporting postpartum families. Whether your struggle is debilitating or minor, we believe that you should be entitled to quality care.

In addition to individual appointments, both our practitioners and our MOSS family provide classes, training, and community building events which are meant to help you build relationships, knowledge, and confidence. We are not meant to be on this journey alone.

The Role

We're looking for a creative and skilled content creator to bring our Instagram presence to life through engaging, high-quality Reels. You'll work directly with our Marketing Director to develop content ideas and collaborate with our practitioners to film content that reflects the warmth, support, and expertise that defines Moss Postpartum House.

This role is perfect for someone who understands the power of storytelling through short-form video and can translate our mission into content that resonates with and supports postpartum families.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Marketing Director to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for Instagram Reels
• Coordinate and schedule filming sessions independently with Moss practitioners
• Film high-quality video content on-site at our Kensington location
• Edit Reels to a professional standard, incorporating trending audio, effects, and formats
• Appear on camera when required for specific content concepts with confidence and clarity
• Manage your own schedule flexibly across the month to complete approximately 15 hours of work

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of experience filming and creating video content
• Strong knowledge of Instagram Reels, trending audio, and current social media video formats
• Proficient video editing skills with the ability to produce polished, engaging Reels
• Access to recent iPhone or professional video equipment (Moss provides microphones)
• Own filming setup including lighting, tripods, and other necessary equipment
• Comfort appearing on camera when needed
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to coordinate independently with practitioners
• Ability to work on-site in Kensington, Calgary

Preferred:

• Experience creating content in the postpartum, maternal health, or wellness space
• Personal experience as a parent or familiarity with postpartum journeys
