Our customers are very active on Facebook and Meta platforms, but today our organic social media presence is underutilized. We rely heavily on paid advertising, which requires significant execution and a constant volume of creative assets that we are not able to produce sustainably.

Plannit is a SaaS software designed for service entrepreneurs (construction, maintenance, HVAC, etc.). It’s a feature-rich product that can be complex to explain. Promoting Plannit isn’t about lifestyle or promotional content—it’s about simplifying a product, demonstrating concrete value, building credibility in a B2B market, and guiding an audience through business thinking.

We believe that a well-designed and well-executed organic social strategy can become a key driver of growth and brand awareness. It will allow us to differentiate from well-known competitors that are very active on social media, while building a genuine community around Plannit.

To achieve this, we are hiring a Social Media & Community Manager who will own our organic social media strategy and execution end-to-end.

The goal of this role is to build a strong, consistent, and differentiated organic social presence—starting with Facebook and the Meta ecosystem—using a structured, measurable, and business-impact-driven approach.

You will be responsible for:

  • Defining how Plannit positions itself and communicates on social media, aligned with our product, market, and growth objectives

  • Designing and executing a sustainable content strategy that educates, builds credibility, and engages a professional audience

  • Turning a complex product into clear, useful, and credible content

  • Engaging with our audience and developing an active community of entrepreneurs and users

  • Analyzing performance, testing, learning, and rapidly adjusting strategies and formats

  • Collaborating closely with product, marketing, and sales teams

This is an autonomous role with full ownership. You won’t simply execute an existing calendar—you’ll design it, launch it, measure it, and optimize it.

This position is suited for someone comfortable with complex environments, technical products, and B2B challenges.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Social Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop Plannit’s organic social media strategy, with a strong focus on Facebook / Meta
  • Analyze competitors and identify content gaps and differentiation opportunities
  • Define content pillars that balance:
    • Education
    • Product value
    • Industry insights
    • Relatable, human content for home service professionals
  • Translate business and product priorities into engaging social narratives

Content Planning & Execution

  • Own and maintain a consistent social content calendar
  • Come up with creative, repeatable content formats that don’t require heavy production every month
  • Write clear, compelling copy in English and French
  • Repurpose existing assets (blogs, product updates, customer insights) into social-friendly content
  • Collaborate with internal teams when visuals or ideas are needed — but operate independently day to day

Community Management & Engagement

  • Actively engage with followers: comments, messages, reactions, and conversations
  • Foster a sense of community and trust, not just broadcasting content
  • Understand how to “show up” authentically on social for SMB operators
  • Monitor feedback and surface insights back to marketing, sales, and product

Performance & Optimization

  • Track organic performance across key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, content performance)
  • Identify what resonates with our ICP and double down on it
  • Make data-informed recommendations to improve content and cadence
  • Align organic insights with paid efforts over time (without owning paid ads)

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Ability to turn a complex product into clear, credible messaging

  • 3–5 years of experience building organic growth strategies for a digital product, ideally B2B SaaS, software, platform, or technical product

  • Advanced mastery of Meta (Facebook and Instagram) as a primary channel, with the ability to structure a multi-platform presence

  • Experience with long sales cycles, professional clients, or decision-makers

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Bilingual (French and English) — strong written fluency required

  • Experience in competitive analysis and strategy adaptation

  • Ability to own both strategy and execution

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or products for SMBs

  • Experience managing or moderating online communities

  • Knowledge of social analytics and content testing

  • Experience collaborating with paid media teams or agencies
