About Us

Position Overview

The Operations & Communications Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations while amplifying Transactix's public presence. You will manage company communications, oversee social media, coordinate logistics and compliance tasks, and work closely with the CEO on high-visibility activities involving media, regulators, partners, and events.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment - equally comfortable posting on LinkedIn as they are coordinating auditors or ensuring payments are processed on time.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Communications (30%):

  • Develop and manage a consistent posting schedule across all company social media channels.
  • Collaborate with the CEO to generate, draft, and edit content (e.g., thought leadership posts, event announcements, updates).
  • Monitor engagement analytics and adjust strategies for growth and visibility.
  • Stay up to date with industry news and social trends to create timely, relevant posts.

Events & Public Engagement (15%):

  • Track fintech, blockchain, and tech ecosystem events, ensuring the company and CEO are registered for key conferences, panels, and networking opportunities.
  • Manage event logistics (registrations, bios, headshots, materials, schedules).
  • Coordinate post-event content such as recaps and media features.

Operations & Administration (25%):

  • Manage day-to-day company operations including invoice processing, expense tracking, and vendor coordination.
  • Support HR and administrative activities for a small, agile team.
  • Maintain organized digital files and ensure internal workflows are streamlined.

Legal & Compliance Support (15%):

  • Act as the liaison between the company and external legal counsel.
  • Prepare, organize, and provide necessary documentation for corporate filings, contracts, and regulatory submissions.
  • Work closely with the CEO to ensure all legal deliverables are met on time.

Accounting & Financial Coordination (15%):

  • Work with accountants and auditors to support financial reporting, filings, and audit readiness.
  • Ensure timely submission of invoices, receipts, and statements for bookkeeping.
  • Help prepare internal financial summaries and dashboards for management review.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations, communications, or executive coordination (preferably in fintech, startups, or tech).
  • Strong writing and editing skills, especially for executive and public-facing content.
  • Comfortable working with financial and legal documents.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and other social media platforms for professional brand management.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, QuickBooks, Canva, AI etc.).
