The Alberta First Responders Association is seeking a dedicated and strategic Volunteer Director of Marketing & Growth to join our leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to use your skills to support the brave first responders who keep our communities safe every day.

About Us

The Alberta First Responders Association is dedicated to supporting the mental and physical well-being of first responders across the province. We provide resources, build community, and organize events to honor and assist these local heroes and their families.

Your Impact & Responsibilities

As our Director of Marketing & Growth, you will be the driving force behind our public presence and financial sustainability. This is a hands-on role where you will directly contribute to our mission's success. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Marketing & Brand Strategy: Review current model and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase our visibility and reach across Alberta.
• Sponsorship Development: Review and adjust current sponsorship package and build relationships with corporate and community partners.
• Negotiation: Leading negotiations for major sponsorships, event pricing, and vendor contracts to maximize our resources.
• Event Coordination: Assisting in the planning, promotion, and execution of fundraising and community events throughout the province.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a motivated individual with a passion for our cause. The ideal candidate has:

• Proven experience in marketing, fundraising, or business development.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to execute plans effectively.
• A strong network in Alberta or the ability to build one quickly.
• A collaborative spirit and a desire to work with a dedicated team of volunteers.
