SUMMARY:
The Marketing Coordinator manages the execution and delivery of brand marketing communications and supports brand operations related to our events and publications. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this role works closely with our brand and operations teams to ensure that marketing communications are planned, prepared, finalized and approved in an efficient manner that supports agreed program timelines for the company's various initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and execute marketing strategies for events, including the coordination of related marketing materials (email blasts, print & online advertising, social media, etc.)
- Manage digital marketing campaigns, including HTML-based email blast creative/content, administration and analysis
- Manage marketing content on event websites and communicate informational updates through social media platforms
- Work closely with brand teams, creative and IT departments, to contribute to the implementation of online and print ads, event websites and email blasts.
- Execute nurture and trigger campaigns leveraging marketing systems (Marketo) to improve customer experience, team capacity and event revenue.
- Execute media partner deliverables including asset coordination and event sponsorship activations in a timely fashion. (This includes coordinating ad production with internal brands and creative/IT departments, and working with the audience services department to ship magazines and materials)
- Coordinate advertising orders, layout for digital and print and organizing inventory across all brand properties and publications.
- Layout maintenance for magazines published by the assigned brands
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary degree
- Three to five years of digital marketing experience
- Direct operating experience in a B2B publishing or events environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects, delivering results that meet quality expectations on time
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with a cross-functional team, delivering results through building and leveraging relationships
- Proven capability leveraging marketing automation campaigns on the Marketo platform.
- Well versed in digital culture, including familiarity with emerging technologies and digital/social marketing platforms
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing practices
- Capable in HTML,, CSS, Wordpress
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Wage: $36.50/hr
- Hours: 35hrs/week
