ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The Mount Forest Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation is currently accepting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will play an integral supporting role in advancing the organization and achieving its mission and vision to meet the financial challenges for quality health care.
The Administrative Assistant will support the Executive Director in the coordination of all Foundation activities in a healthcare environment with a high regard for timeliness, detail and risk management. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, general administrative tasks including database administration, donation processing and receipting, website management, event support, research and the preparation of reports.
This is an opportunity for an energetic person who is extremely personable, well-organized, possesses a positive attitude, works well under pressure and is able to communicate effectively with stakeholders. The successful candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision when necessary.
We are:
Our Foundation's primary purpose is to raise much-needed funds to purchase capital equipment for Louise Marshall Hospital, through various fundraising campaigns and events. The Louise Marshall Hospital serves our community through fully-accredited acute care services, including 24/7 Emergency department, surgical and ambulatory care.
You demonstrate:
- Strong computer and technical skills, including proficiency with donor management software programs, Microsoft 365 (Office) suite, familiarity with website management and digital media platforms
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Required Education and Experience:
- Secondary education
- Minimum of 2 years' administrative support experience, preferably within a not-for-profit organization
This position will be based out of the Mount Forest Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation office, located in the Louise Marshall Hospital. Travel may be required locally and in the surrounding areas for various obligations, and a valid driver's license, insurance and reliable vehicle are required at all times.
Hours of Work & Remuneration: This is a part-time position, up to 30 hours per week, and will involve some evening and weekend work. The position may offer flexible working solutions and/or a hybrid work model, when possible, upon the successful completion of a probationary period. This position offers a competitive salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications, with an option to enroll in and contribute to the HOOPP Pension Plan.
