About the Role:

At Discovery Community College, we're seeking a proactive and organized Business Development Administrator to support training initiatives and partnership growth. This role involves coordinating funding applications, managing employer and non-profit relationships, and overseeing recruitment and reporting for government-funded training programs.

This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who thrives in strategic partnerships, project management, and workforce development.

Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage non-profit partners and employers for training projects
  • Research labour market trends and prepare funding applications
  • Develop internal budgets and assess project viability
  • Lead student recruitment and promotional efforts
  • Coordinate with instructors and registration teams to ensure program success
  • Liaise with Ministries and monitor grant opportunities
  • Prepare invoices and completion reports for non-profit and government partners
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in business development or education administration
  • Strong communication, research, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and BC's post-secondary landscape
